MARCELO BUKIN - Storyteller, Filmmaker & Visual Artist

Marcelo is an international award-winning storyteller, filmmaker, and visual artist. His work has been widely recognized for its humanity, visual immersion, and emotional truth, earning praise and awards at more than 200 international film festivals. Filmmaking legend Albert Maysles called Bukin’s visually ambitious works “Much more worthwhile than what the mass media produces.”   

Bukin directs films and commercials, leads masterclasses and coaching on the power of storytelling, and creates immersive experiences that blend live performance, visual arts, and interactive cinematic storytelling

His films and storytelling include shoots with SONY, Olympus, P&G, Intel, Starbucks, Hellmann’s, Unilever, and Knorr, among others. Recent campaigns were shot in the US, Japan, Brazil, India, and Costa Rica. In parallel, Bukin has been an artist since the age of 6, evolving his vibrant, raw, emotional expressionist style. This symbiotically enhances his creative approach, where diverse arts interplay with their narrative and freshness.

Marcelo’s creative journey has been a kaleidoscope of vibrant experiences, each shaping his distinct creative approach. Trained in Technical Architecture in Argentina, he went on to study under European cinema and art masters in Barcelona while working as a burlesque showman, spent four years backpacking across the world exploring humanity in African and Indonesian villages, performed live in Japan and Spain, and pursued in-depth yogic and systemic coaching studies in India. Bukin developed a uniquely loving way to connect with people across cultures, styles, and backgrounds, exploring the human soul that unites us all while giving life to multidimensional visual and experiential works.

Marcelo works globally and resides between Miami and New York City. He is a guest lecturer and speaker at prestigious venues such as Georgetown University, Columbia University, and the Museum of Moving Image in New York, where he shares his insights on storytelling, filmmaking, visual arts, and personal growth.
